	Gambit is more or less keeping to the sidelines of the crowds today, both keeping an eye out for familiar faces and just plain people-watching. Because hey, let's face it, this is just about as good entertainment as you'll find in this place. He'll probably head to Good Spirits later on in the day to see how many people he can cheat at cards, because why not.
	Albel Nox is none too amused with all of these people milling around the town, so he's making an effort to get the hell out of the way. Except that people keep turning up in the places where there usually aren't any people. The mountains aren't clear, the forest isn't clear, even the library has a ton of people in it. Eventually, he'll sullenly submit to the mess that is this weekend and just make his way out to the Battle Dome to see if anyone else from back home turns up out there.
	Sergeant Calhoun isn't too terribly phased by the sudden influx of people, although it does make her vaguely concerned that this sort of thing could be a security hazard. That said, she'll be making slow circuits of the village, both keeping an eye out for anyone familiar and also keeping an eye out for any potential trouble. Somebody's gotta keep the peace around here.

[ Here's one sort-of familiar face for you, Gambit! Her mother's spitting image, this one. Until you get her angry, anyway. But for now she's in the plaza, herself looking for anyone who looks familiar... ]

[Sort-of familiar indeed! After a day full of newcomers, a familiar face like this is welcome. And she's headed this way, to boot. Must also be out scanning for newbies.

There's something different, though.]

Hey, Stormy. [Nope, completely unconcerned about how much that nickname usually pulls down the fury on him.] I like the new hairstyle. When'd you change it?

[ She doesn't realize he's talking to her until he... keeps talking at her. She blinks and pauses right by him before she gets too far. ]

- I'm sorry? [ Totally missed the first bit there! ]

[Gambit's usual easy smile falters a bit in confusion. Okay, that voice wasn't quite right... was it? Maybe he hadn't heard things the right way. Time to test.]

[She does sound a little like her mother, she's told, but she is only fifteen! She also quickly figures out what's going on here.]

Oh! I'm sorry, you must be referring to my mother. ... Though I'm pretty sure I've never heard anyone call her by that name.

[This is a very, very confused Cajun. He's never heard Storm refer to a daughter, nor has he ever gotten wind of any such person back from his Acolyte days. But he recovers easily enough.]

Yeah, she don't t'ink it's too funny when I call her that. [And that doesn't stop me. He smiles.] Name's Remy, by the way. What's yours?
