[Someone is causing a ruckus in the bar. In fact, that someone is very close to where Gambit is in the bar.

And he's talking to himself. More like yelling, really.] I already told you! I'm not drunk enough to get away with singing Pussycat Dolls songs on the tables!

[Deadpool looks over to Gambit, expecting, based on how he's speaking, someone... older.]

Yeah. Floats above my head, about this big. [...] Actually, it pretty much shows up where ever it feels like. I need to start keeping a leash on that damn thing.

[Because Gambit is thinking he'd better steer clear of it, whatever it is.]

[Deadpool looks around for a moment, almost like his drink was something no one was supposed to know about. Like it was a dangerous secret.]

Well, I'm kinda short on dough. Last thing I drank was sewage water, I think? It was a couple of hours ago.

[Pause as he looks to the side.] It was regular water? Tasted like sewage water to me.

[Dude, he's just going to. Stop shuffling now. What was with that look to the side?]

[There are a lot of people here, but everybody else seems to have enough sense not to talk to this nutcase. Mon dieu what did he get himself into.]

[He leans forward, and lowers his voice to a whisper.] The yellow box was just being a smart-ass. Don't worry about it.

Oh yeah! I just remembered, I wanted to ask you why you look like you do. [And got such baby smooth looking skin. It's like he's from another universe where everyone from the X-Men series was younger!]

If you're askin' about the eyes, they always been this way.

I meant why the hell you suddenly look younger than a newborn babe. [Bit of an exaggeration, but it's Deadpool.] C'mon, you can tell me. Mutant to mutant.

[Oh. That's what he means. Gambit can't help but wonder if the older Rogue from earlier knows this weirdo. If she does, that's probably why she's not hanging around here anymore.]

Guess nobody's told you about the whole "dragged here from dif'rent timelines and universes" t'ing yet.

I figured the universe thing in no time. Didn't know about the timeline dealio.

So, what? You're the good ol' Gambit before he hit puberty? [He sure could use a lesson in that tact thing.]

[You're around ten years too late for that one, Deadpool. And Remy gives him an irritated look for a moment before shaking his head. Not worth it.]

Apparently I'm the good ol' Gambit before he joined the X-Men.

[If Jubilee, older!Rogue, and a few others are any indication.]

[Deadpool just lets out an amused whistle.] That means you haven't seen my run with the group! Too bad, huh?

Yeah, too bad. [For the X-Men. There's not much he's ever felt bad for them for, but this is definitely something to pity them over.]

What's your name anyway, homme?
