FOURTH WALL - Joint Post
GAMBIT: Will be lurking around Good Spirits both nights, keeping an eye on who comes and goes. There will probably be much card shuffling.
NOA: Will be busy running around town the entire time and getting into everyone's business. Anyone, anywhere, any time, she'll be there and will be fascinated by all.
Gambit
And then she leans back and smirks, and this drawl may have a familiar tone:]
Was wonderin' if you'd be here.
ilu. XD;; 1/2

He missed something. He's sure of it.]
...Rogue?

Not that he's complaining, of course.Maybe she's the Rogue from Jubilee's world...?He's still confused, but quickly regaining his composure. And by "composure" we mean "charm."]
Jus' caught me by surprise, chere. 'preciate the comp'ny.
[Especially when the company is not only Rogue, but also a Rogue who apparently knows his favorite drink. It might not be adding up quite right, but hell, he can appreciate it for what it is.]
and I meant to bow up there! So I will do so here: /bows
Mmmhmm. Ah'm sure you do. [And she lets her eyes do a slow drag from his feet to his face, taking in all the differences and similarities before reaching over and casually opening her beverage of choice.]
Ah've wondered what'd it be like, bumpin' into a younger you. Stranger things have happened, right? [And this is a definite smirk as she pours herself a glass.] So now Ah just need to decide if Ah've already irreversibly damaged the space-time continuum an' can actually stick around for a drink.
[It's a dare. Go on. Charm her. She wants to see how good you are at this age.]

I t'ink it'll live if you stay for jus' a li'l while longer, non? Space-time don't really work the way it should 'round here anyhow.
[After all, Jubilee came from ten years in the past and somehow knew all of them as being older in spite of it. Space-time continuums have no place in Luceti, he figures.]

Gambit
However, the cold is really starting to bother Crysta, and she decides to buzz into one of those giant things that isn't a tree while one of the doors is briefly cracked open. She doesn't know how much it'll help, but... oh! It is warmer. This is so amazing! She'll have to tell everyone about it once she gets back to Fern Gully.
... Hm. What's that human with the odd eyes doing with those... what are those? Is it some kind of magic?
Welp. Crysta's just going to fly around to try and get a good look at whatever it is Gambit is doing, though to him, she'll just look like some kind of buzzing, glowing, blue thing.]
m-my childhood...
Almost as a test, he'll just shuffle through the cards at a speed that makes them little more than a blur. What do, blue glowy thing?]
MINE TOO /holds <3
But... oh, that has to be magic! Curiously, she buzzes closer, although she frequently darts behind any other space or object, so as not to be seen. ... Because she totally hasn't been spotted. Totally.]
<3!
Still testing, he takes one card from the top of the deck and puts it down on the table, somewhere between them.
It's not charged, for what it's worth.]

She buzzes down and glances up at Gambit - omg human - before taking a look at the card. It's thin like a leaf, but it looks nothing like one, and... hm. Maybe she could just ask him what it is! Though that would require her to do something else, first.]
Bless your eyes with magic light I [THIS IS SO EXCITING SHE'S GOING TO TALK TO A HUMAN] give the gift of fairy size! [WAIT SHIT NO] Sight!

What just
seriously
IS THIS HIS CARD THAT HE IS STANDING ON BECAUSE IT IS STUPID HUGE NOW
mon dieu it has to be his card the pattern matches and...
...is that a fairy girl.
Give him a moment.]

This is your fault I hope you know
It most certainly is not who he would expect. He laughs to himself, shakes his head and wanders over, tall, lean, a bit of grey in his hair, bestubbled and almost painfully French. He settles next to Gambit with a salute of his beverage.] Bonjour Homme.
I am so terribly proud of it, too.
Bonjour, mon ami. Looks like you jus' got here wit' the rest.
[That lack of wings is a dead giveaway, man.]
You should be. I wasn't gonna do this and you are the devil
Think you could tell me where exactly here is and if there's a way out? I have an appointment to keep.
>D
Here is Luceti. An' there's no way out that any of us have found. Good news is, you might still be able to keep that appointment. We gettin' a lotta people here today.

'preciate the sentiment, mon ami. This place is pretty real. Strange, but real.
[Time to play his hand and see if his suspicions were right.]

And he's talking to himself. More like yelling, really.] I already told you! I'm not drunk enough to get away with singing Pussycat Dolls songs on the tables!
This is a game of patience!

Dunno, mon ami, I t'ink you might jus' be drunk enough.
