GAMBIT: Will be lurking around Good Spirits both nights, keeping an eye on who comes and goes. There will probably be much card shuffling.

NOA: Will be busy running around town the entire time and getting into everyone's business. Anyone, anywhere, any time, she'll be there and will be fascinated by all.

[Oh, this is so... strange! And interesting! The sudden temperature change was strange, but even stranger is all the... white stuff on the ground and those giant things that aren't trees and everything else and it was so new and there aren't any other fairies here that she can see and even stranger yet is that there are humans! Actual humans! Though she doesn't remember anything about humans ever having wings, but still! HUMANS.

However, the cold is really starting to bother Crysta, and she decides to buzz into one of those giant things that isn't a tree while one of the doors is briefly cracked open. She doesn't know how much it'll help, but... oh! It is warmer. This is so amazing! She'll have to tell everyone about it once she gets back to Fern Gully.

... Hm. What's that human with the odd eyes doing with those... what are those? Is it some kind of magic?

Welp. Crysta's just going to fly around to try and get a good look at whatever it is Gambit is doing, though to him, she'll just look like some kind of buzzing, glowing, blue thing.]

m-my childhood...

[Not magic, no, but some pretty fancy shuffling nonetheless. But he hesitates in the shuffling as the blue thing buzzes its way on towards him. What... is it? Some kind of magic? A mutation? Any other of a long list of possible creatures that seem to find their way here?

Almost as a test, he'll just shuffle through the cards at a speed that makes them little more than a blur. What do, blue glowy thing?]

[Magic, yes! Mutation? Nnnot so much. Not that Crysta would even know what a mutation is.

But... oh, that has to be magic! Curiously, she buzzes closer, although she frequently darts behind any other space or object, so as not to be seen. ... Because she totally hasn't been spotted. Totally.]

Still testing, he takes one card from the top of the deck and puts it down on the table, somewhere between them.

She buzzes down and glances up at Gambit - omg human - before taking a look at the card. It's thin like a leaf, but it looks nothing like one, and... hm. Maybe she could just ask him what it is! Though that would require her to do something else, first.]

However, Crysta shakes her head in response to his question.]

That, and his hair is frizzing out really badly.

WHAT KIND OF FAIRY ARE YOU oh god time to get off this card, he can't stop the charge. And he's carting you up on the way, Crysta, and running with you because it would take too long to explain.

[Crysta doesn't understand why Gambit is suddenly running away or what he picked her up - A HUMAN PICKED HER UP OH GOODNESS - and she really doesn't understand this and BOOM OH GOD WHAT IS THAT BOOM WHAT IS IT WHY DID IT HAPPEN WHAT IS GOING ON???

Sorry, Gambit, Crysta's just going to fly out of your grasp to try and get a better look at what just happened. Of course, almost just as quickly she flies right back.]

What happened? Can all humans do that?

[It's probably a good thing she did fly away, because now his gloves are itching and merde the palms are catching fire.

I wonder if it's like that with fairies, too... though I haven't met any outside of Fern Gully.
