[Later on, once he's gotten Adele's abomination of a sofa dragged up to the roof, it's showtime. Or, well. Will be showtime after dark. Best effect at that point, after all. You can't go doing something crazy and stupid without doing it to the full effect. At least not when your name is Remy LeBeau.

The sofa will eventually be charged up to high heaven, shoved off the ledge, and blow up for everyone's viewing pleasure.

[AND BAMF. Kurt vanishes with a flash and a sudden puff of smoke where he was previously sitting. Don't wait up, he will be just a bit. So talk among yourselves.]

[Rogue coughs and waves her hand in front of her face.

She glances over to Adele for her response to Kurt's sudden display.]

[It had been just as fascinating to watch in person as she'd thought it would be. Adele didn't entirely repress a small, fond smile at Kurt's vanishing act. She'll never admit it but she was a fan of his character, just a little.]

[Well he'll poof back in now, crouched on the top of the chair. There's even a blanket draped over the arm.]

There, now you have front row seats to couchmageddon.

Thank you Kurt. [Adele dips her head, braces herself for at the very least shakes and faint hiccups, and walks over to the chair to tug it closer to the wall. If it was near the wall, it wouldn't be so bad. She hoped.]

Rogue flicks her gaze over to Kurt and then back over to Adele significantly. Gonna help her or not?]

[Yeah yeah, he doesn't even need to be glared at! He's already helping to tug it wherever it's going.]

It is, Kurt, thank you. [Adele settles in the chair and tucks the blanket around her legs, forcing herself to relax. For the most part she was doing very, very well, thanks in part to mental deception and a great deal to the sedatives pumping through her veins. Her hands were barely trembling, and that at least could be blamed on the cold.]
